Swordtails
Swordtails are the platies closest cousins. The name comes from the male specie longer bottom tail which resembles a sword. These have a passive demeanor. Its brightly hued body produces a great contrast to the water it swims in. They enjoy long lives and are quite built for toughness which is why this is the perfect fish for first timers. Having several of these in different colors will add a beautiful atmosphere wherever you put your aquarium.
