Carmel-by-the-Sea, California
When you think of California, you think of huge cities like San Francisco and Los Angeles. Behind all these huge cities is a small European-style village called Carmel-by-the-Sea. It is a must-visit place for those who are into architectural styles, delicious dishes and natural wonders. It is also a home to the San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo Mission which houses a small basilica church. It was founded in the 1770’s and is still standing until now. Of course, you should not miss out on the Carmel Beach Festival which is what most people are after when going to this town.
