You may recognize this beauty from the 2008 Academy award winning film, Slumdog Millionaire. She has also won the Palm Springs International Film Festival that year for her breakthrough performance. She was also nominated by many other award giving bodies. She then starred in many other films since Slumdog. This includes Rise of the Apes and Trishna, where she took the lead role. She also starred in the 2014 biographical drama, Desert Dancer, where her acting prowess was noticed even more. Despite her successful career in Hollywood, she didn’t really do much in her home country.
