The vibrance of its color is what makes the Betta a great fish for your aquarium. The fins on the male kind are very long which adds to its eye appeal. They come in another name as well, the Siamese Fighting Fish. As the name states, they fight with each other a lot. The best thing to do is to just care for one. The males are susceptible to other specie who loves to pick on fish fins.
